Custom & Personalized Products Policy
Due to the custom and highly personalized nature of our products (including all Pet Portraits, Human Portraits, Royal Pet Portraits, and any artwork featuring custom names, dates, or specific details as per your request), we generally do not offer returns or refunds for these items once they have been approved by you and produced.
Our creation process involves close collaboration with you, including sending digital proofs for your review and offering unlimited free revisions until you are 100% delighted with the artwork. This ensures that the final product perfectly matches your vision before it is finalized.
Exceptions & Our Quality Guarantee
We are committed to delivering a high-quality product. In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, is incorrect (e.g., wrong size, wrong product, print defect that was not present in the approved proof), or there is a verifiable issue with the physical product itself due to our error, we are here to help.
If you encounter any of the following issues, please contact us immediately:
Damaged Product: The item arrived broken, torn, or otherwise damaged during shipping.
Incorrect Product: You received a product that is different from what you ordered (e.g., wrong portrait style, wrong subject, wrong pet/human in the portrait).
Incorrect Size or Print Defect: The physical print or canvas has a size error or a clear print defect that was not visible or corrected in the final approved digital proof.
To report an issue: Please contact our support team at contact@painterful.com within 3 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos or videos of the problem. Our team will review your case and work with you to find a satisfactory solution, which may include a replacement or store credit, depending on the nature of the issue.
Order Cancellation Policy
We understand that circumstances can change. You may cancel your order for a full refund within 24 hours of placing it. After 24 hours, our artists may have already begun working on your custom portrait. Once you have approved your digital proof, the order cannot be canceled or refunded.
